PASTOR JIM'S MESSAGE

There have been a lot of things I have been impressed by since I started here in Niagara Falls.  One of those things is the dedication of the volunteers in the different parishes of this family.  People work hard for the parishes here.  I thank our volunteers for that.

We have four food pantries at our parishes here in Niagara Falls.  It’s beautiful to see the dedication that is here for people in need in our city.  Charity and justice are at the core of Catholic life.  I thank you for all the dedication you have in a ministry that is very much needed.

I also very much appreciate our volunteers who work in other areas as well.  Church cleaners and decorators, members of our various music groups, lectors, altar servers and Eucharistic ministers, bereavement all make things possible for our parishes.  Those who do fundraising for our parishes, such as Bingo workers and volunteers at fundraising events, help to keep our parishes going as well.

I know our current times are not easy.  I want you to know that your work is needed and appreciated.
